Development of a new system-wide design standard for the demarcation of fare paid zones at all Link light rail stations.  The project improves the level of passenger service by improving the clarity and efficiency of fare paying operations, and will provide a consistent experience at all of the stations.  The project involved careful consideration of tactile wayfinding features at the stations, as well as testing to confirm that the fare paid zone features would be comprehensible to passengers with impaired vision and would support the principles of universal design.
